ArcLens
Terms of Service

The deal, in plain English.

These terms govern your use of ArcLens. They are short on purpose — read them once and you'll know where you stand.

Last updated: July 3, 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using getarclens.com (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Questions go to [email protected].

2. What ArcLens is

ArcLens is a decision-support tool: it reads job descriptions, scores their fit against your career history through Lenses you define, and can draft a tailored resume from material you provide. It informs your judgment; it does not replace it.

The Service is offered in an early-access period. Features may change, be added, or be removed as the product develops, and occasional interruptions or rough edges are part of the deal at this stage. We will treat your data with the care described in the Privacy Policy regardless.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract.
  • Give accurate account information and keep your credentials to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • One account per person. The Service is built for the person doing the searching — if you want to use it with clients as a coach or recruiter, contact us first.

4. Your content

Everything you upload or create in the Service — resumes, Career History, Lenses, pasted job descriptions — remains yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We claim no other rights to it.

You are responsible for having the right to submit what you submit. Upload your own career record, not someone else’s personal data without their permission, and paste job descriptions only for your own use of the Service.

5. Acceptable use

Do not:

  • probe, overload, or attempt to bypass the Service's security or rate limits;
  • upload malware or files designed to disrupt processing;
  • scrape the Service, resell access to it, or use it to build a competing dataset;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where law permits it regardless of this term;
  • use the Service for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

6. AI-generated output

Reads, scores, and resume drafts are generated with the help of AI models working from the material you provide. They can be wrong, incomplete, or miss context only you have. Review every output before you rely on it — especially a resume before you send it to an employer. You are responsible for what you submit in your job search; a verdict of PURSUE or PASS is an input to your decision, not a guarantee of any outcome.

7. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Parts of the Service are free; others require a paid plan as described on the pricing page. Prices and plan contents may change; changes apply from your next billing period, never retroactively. You can cancel anytime from your account settings — access continues through the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not offer partial-period refunds unless the law where you live requires them.

8. Our property

The Service itself — the software, the scoring engine, the design, the name ArcLens — is ours. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it, not a license to any of the underlying technology.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how, and what gets deleted). We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it. Sections 4, 8, 10, and 11 survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any read, score, or resume will produce any particular result in your job search.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; where that is the case, these limits apply to the fullest extent allowed.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we will update the date above and notify signed-in users before the change takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and both sides consent to that venue. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
